The Quilts of Hope is a project run by Betty Virago which runs quilting and embroidery workshops across the country.
The aim of the workshops is to make quilts filled with messages of Hope and Love which are then blessed and placed in places of safety for vulnerable women caught up in street prostitution.
Our belief is that the quilts are there to be used by the women in their times of need, allowing them to wrap themselves in the quilts, read the messages and know that they are loved and supported by many.
We meet weekly on Tuesdays between 1pm and 4pm at Bridge Community Church, Rider Street, Leeds, LS9 7BQ
