While Coronavirus is affecting our ability to meet each other in public we still meet every week online.
Our Zoom meetup is every Friday at 7.30pm and all are welcome whether you are a crafter or not.
for the Zoom meeting ID, just message us through email, Facebook or twitter and we’ll send you the link
Not sure how to use Zoom? here’s a YouTube video to help you join us.
Quilt Knit Sew
Tuesdays 1pm till 4pm at Bridge Community Church, Rider Street, Leeds, LS9 7BQ
This group is open to everyone of all crafting abilities. We do not charge an entrance fee, but donations are welcome.
This is a lovely, welcoming group of women (men are welcome though!) most weeks we bring our own textile based projects to work on, or learn a skill from Joy, our award winning and highly skilled textile designer.
Other weeks we might have a break from our own projects to do something new. In December 2019 we all learned to make needle felted Christmas baubles!
Live at Home Crafters
Every Alternate Monday, 1.30pm till 3.30pm, £3 charge.
This is a great group for people living in South Leeds who find themselves living on their own or in need of great company. We have a variety of crafts available and materials are provided though most of us do card making , knitting or quilting.
Anything can happen at this group though and we have a huge craft cupboard which is bound to give you something interesting to make.
This group is run jointly by Betty Virago and the South Leeds, Live at Home scheme. If you would like to come to this group (and you’d be very welcome), please contact the Live at Home scheme on: 0113 271 6201
or email: southleeds.liveathome@mha.org.uk
